The USAID-funded Regional Competitiveness Activity (RCI) held an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Business to Business (B2B) Matchmaking Event in Skopje, Macedonia on April 7 and 8, 2010. Crimson Capital actively contributed to the organization and promotion of the event - for which Crimson received special recognition (for more information, see www.biznis24.com.mk and an English translation).
The ICT B2B Matchmaking Event was designed for ICT companies/ organizations and private investment companies looking to create business ties within the ICT sector in South East Europe (SEE). The event allowed participants to identify business opportunities, including:
- Buyers for their products and services;
- Suppliers of products and services;
- Partners for projects or joint ventures;
- Outsourcing partners;
- Partners for joint participation in donor and government funded projects;
- Potential private investors and/or investment opportunities;
More than 130 ICT companies, organizations and associations actively participated in the event. There were representatives from 12 different countries, allowing the event to have truly regional coverage; participants came from all over the Balkans, Armenia, Georgia, The Netherlands, Belgium and Norway.
