As part of the USAID-funded Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program in Nigeria (REEP), during April, Crimson designed and delivered a training program in Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy (RE) finance for 27 Ecobank front-office staff. Designed to compliment Ecobank’s RE/EE residential loan product, the training covered an overview of the RE/EE sector in Nigeria, energy savings calculators, energy audits, RE and EE technologies, and sourcing an evaluating RE and EE projects. Crimson also designed and delivered a half-day course to introduce basic concepts of RE/EE finance for management and front-office staff from Diamond Bank, Wema Bank and La Fayette Microfinance Bank.
