In August, Crimson joined the USAID-funded Kyrgyzstan Local Economic Development (KLED) Program under a subcontract to Chemonics International (Chemonics). KLED is designed to stimulate rapid, diversified, and sustainable economic growth by supporting local economic development in Kyrgyzstan. KLED assistance focuses on improving tax administration, simplifying the licensing regime, facilitating trade, and streamlining customs.
Though KLED, Crimson will work to support increased access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), by working with selected financial partner institutions to support the development and launch of innovative working capital finance products. These products will help SMEs access the finance they need to complete trade deals and fill purchase orders, thereby stimulating enterprise growth, profitability and job creation.
